About the workplace

The Eye Clinic Halland is organized within area 2 and has 3 service points with a reception and surgical department in Halmstad and Kungsbacka, as well as a reception in Varberg. Here, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, optometrists, orthoptists, and medical secretaries work. Our clinics are open Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities

At the eye clinic, you will work independently with patient receptions, where you perform visual field tests and fundus photography. You will prepare patients for both planned and urgent doctor visits and staff our telephone advice service.

At the day surgery clinic, you will assist in surgeries, such as cataract operations. At the Eye Clinic in Halland, it is primarily nurses who treat patients with changes in the macula through intravitreal injections.

We strive for each employee to have interesting and varied tasks. Therefore, the tasks are adapted according to your competence and experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with a specialist nursing degree in ophthalmic care or surgical nursing. We value that you are a person who can work both independently and in a team.

You have the ability to organize your work, are attentive, and have good collaboration skills within and between professions. You are open to learning new things and can easily adapt to changing circumstances and complete what you have started.
